We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our team in Ajax, ON. Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Mobile Equipment Operator is responsible for carrying out various loads of materials requiring the use of a loader.

What you're responsible for:

• Driving and manoeuvring the loader to load and move vehicles to appropriate areas in the yard
• Removing rows of vehicles and ensuring easy access and maintaining the yard for our customers
• Operating a machine to crush vehicles and getting them ready for transport
• Performing inspections prior to use of all equipment
• Ensuring the maintenance and servicing of the loader and the car press
• Marking cars for control and inventory purposes
• Loading crushed vehicles into delivery trucks
• Performing forklift tasks when necessary
• Helping customers transport heavy parts to their vehicle
• Performing labourer tasks when all the loader tasks are completed (removing rims from tires, sorting rims, yard clean up, and depollution)

• You are able to drive and operate a heavy vehicle
• You are able to adapt to different climates
