Join one of the world's leading trading firms as we continue to build out our back office in GIFT City. This is a strategic, high-visibility role: you will take an established reconciliation team and shape it into a best-in-class function — getting the most out of your people while raising the bar on accuracy, control, and automation. You will own daily reconciliation oversight of trades, positions, and cash across all global markets and asset classes, leading a team of associates and partnering closely with trading, technology, and the wider operations group

What You'll Do:

• Own the end-to-end daily reconciliation of trades, positions, and cash against prime

• brokers, custodians, clearing members, clearing corporations, and fund administrators.

• Lead, mentor, and continue to develop talent across the team, allocating workload

• across coverage windows and acting as the escalation point for complex breaks.

• Oversee the investigation and timely resolution of breaks, partnering with internal

• teams and external counterparties globally to research root causes.

• Onboard new reconciliations and counterparties as the firm's activity and controls

• expand.

• Identify patterns in recurring breaks and drive feedback into upstream processes to

• reduce future exceptions.

• Own management reporting on match rates, break aging, root-cause trends, and team

• KPIs.

• Document and formalize procedures to ensure consistency, scalability, and knowledge

• continuity across the team.

• Partner with technology to evaluate, design, and implement automation and process

• improvements.

Skills You’ll Need:

• Atleast 10+ years of experience in reconciliation, settlements, or a related operations function,

• including direct people-management experience.

• Strong working knowledge of trade, position, and cash reconciliation and the full trade

• lifecycle, with emphasis on global market conventions.

• Deep asset class familiarity across equities, equity swaps, FX, futures, options, fixed

• income products and related instruments.

• Hands-on experience reconciling against prime brokers, custodians, clearing members

• and corporations, and fund administrators.

• Proven ability to build, lead, and develop a high-performing operations team and drive

• delivery against tight deadlines across time zones.

• Comfort working with large, complex data sets and drawing conclusions from them.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to engage

• effectively with stakeholders across time zones.

• A controls-oriented mindset with a focus on reducing operational risk.

• Strong documentation and organizational skills.
