The Project Manager is responsible for leading the planning, execution, and delivery of utility‑scale wind projects in Peru. This includes full accountability for scope, budget, schedule, quality, HSE, stakeholder management, and compliance with local regulatory requirements. The role requires strong leadership, proactive risk management, and the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, timely, and successful project completion.
- Lead full project lifecycle from development handover to commissioning and transfer to operations.
- Develop and maintain project execution plans, schedules, and budgets in alignment with Peru’s regulatory framework.
- Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.
- Ensure strict adherence to HSE standards across all contractors and work fronts.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, implementing corrective and preventive measures.
- Ensure compliance with national and regional permitting, environmental obligations, and statutory requirements.
- Manage interfaces with local communities, authorities, landowners, and grid operators. • Oversee BoP and turbine supplier contracts, ensuring performance, quality, safety and claim management.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (civil, mechanical, electrical) or related field.
- 5+ years of experience leading construction and project management of large-scale wind projects.
- Strong background in project management, governance, and contract execution.
- Experience working with Peruvian permitting, environmental, and regulatory processes is an advantage.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills across multidisciplinary teams.
- High integrity and strong commitment to HSSE.
- Ability to travel regularly to construction sites.
- Fluency in Spanish and strong English proficiency.
