As a Principal Flooding Engineer (10+ years' experience) in our team, your impact will be in the successful delivery of projects for flood management clients and helping ensure development is flood appropriate.
You will be responsible for:
- Manage and/or support projects at various lifecycle stages related to large scale flood mapping, Council based flood mitigation prioritisation, concept design of flood mitigation, drainage scheme works, flood impact assessments.
- Financial management of projects by forecasting, monitoring time and cost expended on project and budget health, working with client to obtain approval for any changes to scope of work
- Prepare project deliverables and documentation of varying nature and ensuring these meet client requirements for projects of reasonable complexity.
- Participating in client management and supporting broader business development activities
You will also have:
- 10+ years’ experience is a similar role
- Relevant tertiary qualifications
- CPEng and/or NER (highly desirable)
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
