Lead marketing/Digital Marketing Specialist

Role and Responsibilities

● Plan, implement and deliver the marketing strategy for China, aligned to Veolia’s global

Labwater strategy and driven by measurable Return on Investment (ROI) and Key

Performance Indicator (KPI’s)

● Tactically deliver on marketing and communication campaigns and activities with expert

knowledge of Baidu paid advertising and WeChat tactics.

● Website promotion: drive traffic, production and publication of content, customer

testimonials.

● Web back-end management: manage web development agency, security, API’s and

databases to ensure a functionally sound website. Current platform is Drupal.

● Develop market segment lead generation and sales pipelines driven by data and Key

Performance Indicators (KPI’s)

● Manage China marketing plan, budget and approval with China and global Labwater

group management stakeholders

● Support the China labwater solutions sales team

● Delivery calendar of promotional and social media activity to support the Veolia brand

and labwater solutions

● Co-odintate with the China MarComs team to localise and cascade product launches,

including all collateral and materials related to product launches

● Co-ordinate with the China MarComs team to deliver off-line events, seminars and

training activities

● Manage local China marketing agencies to deliver China Marketing strategy plan covering

on and offline activity

● Own, track & reporting of campaign and lead metrics using Salesforce.com

● Liaise with end-users, industry partners and specialist media to develop end-user

customer profiles, buyer journeys and touch-points

● Track competitor promotional activity and report on insight of value to global Labwater

group

Qualifications and Education Requirements

● Preferably degree qualified ideally in a scientific or empirical subject

● Up to 6 years of marketing experience with demonstrable experience with promoting

through WeChat and Baidu

● Fluent in English

Required Skills

● A self-starter who is motivated by change, ownership and using communication and

data to drive commercial success.

● Skilled in Chinese digital marketing, CRM Salesforce and automated email platforms

such as Hubspot

● Familiar with developing sales pipelines through marketing activity and Key Performance

Indicators (KPI) or metrics

● Strong communication skills with a desire to communicate with different audiences and

who enjoys learning

● Able to build relationships with a range of professional backgrounds and who is

prepared to challenge non delivery.

● Enjoys managing multiple projects, agreeing priorities, problem solving and working

independently.

● Can demonstrate teamwork and displays a pragmatic ‘can-do’ approach.

● Excellent organizational and computer skills including Microsoft/Google suites

● Creative with an imaginative approach to problem solving
