SALARY ACCOUNTANT (m/f), Zagreb

To secure the continuous development of JYSK in West Balkan, we are looking for a Salary Accountant. You will be placed at our local Head Office in Zagreb and will refer to Salary Accountant Team Leader.

We offer a full-time position for indefinite period.

Your typical tasks are monthly salary and social security accounting:

• Processing employment contracts for new employees
• Ensuring all employee data is registered correctly
• Collecting and entering new employee data into the salary system (Pantheon knowledge is a plus)
• Ensuring staff folders and SAP HR records are complete
• Maintaining employee files and update the database from SAP HR
• Processing employee enrollments and data changes with authorities
• Collecting necessary staff documentation from retail stores
• Calculating monthly salaries
• Calculating monthly social security benefits
• Preparing monthly wages posting sheets for SAP Retail
• Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual internal and external reports
• Ensuring monthly payable taxes and wages are posted to the electronic banking system

You Bring dedication and…

• You have at least 5 years of experience in payroll accounting
• You have a strong analytical mindset and a natural affinity for numbers
• You possess strong attention to detail
• You are result-oriented with the ability to structure, follow up on, and finalize daily tasks while meeting deadlines and prioritizing effectively
• You have effective communication skills
• You are a collaborative team player who enjoys working closely with colleagues to complete tasks and solve problems
• You enjoy helping others and do your best to create good team spirit
• You can follow internal processes and relevant legislation
• You are proficient in English, both verbal and written
• You have a strong knowledge of MS Office
• You hold a valid Category B driver's license
