- Develop project budgets and cost control plans. Monitor costs against budget, forecast expenditures, and generate regular monthly cost reports with cash flow analyses and performance metrics for project management and stakeholders.
- Identify cost variances and recommend corrective actions. Provide cost estimates for variations, change orders, and claims to support project decision-making.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams to ensure accurate cost information flow. Interface with finance, contracts, and procurement departments to maintain alignment on cost-related matters.
- Degree in Engineering, Finance, Quantity Surveying, or related field; certification in cost engineering or project controls is a plus.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in project cost management, ideally in oil & gas or FPSO EPC environments.
- Proven track record managing large-scale project budgets, cost reporting, forecasting, and financial controls across full project lifecycle phases.
- Proficiency in cost control tools such as SAP, with advanced Excel and financial modeling capabilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent reporting and presentation abilities.
- Experience working across multidisciplinary project teams including engineering, procurement, and construction.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively under pressure.
- Familiarity with international project cost standards and compliance requirements.
