Guided by the vision of “smart and sustainable solutions beyond rubber,” the group sector draws on its long-standing knowledge of the industry and materials to open up new business opportunities by combining various materials with electronic components and individual services.

  • Review new product process Specifications and Quality requirements provided by the Vulcanite Sydney Engineering team.
  • Ensure on time availability of moulds, special tools, testing and secondary process jigs and specific production material for new product industrialisation.
  • Lead industrialization team from first article sample preparation, validation, and approval.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering Engineer for the new and existing product process improvement.
  • Communicate with Vulcanite Sydney Engineering for process Specification and Quality requirement revisions.
  • Train manufacturing shopfloor team on new product process Standard Operating Procedures and Quality requirements.
  • Collaborate with secondary process supplier of new product industrialization process and quality control.
  • Monitor first article production and inspection and advise on corrective action if required.
  • Liaise with suppliers, Vulcanite stakeholders and external bodies as required.
  • Maintain good housekeeping and 5S.
  • Maintain consistent application of company policies, procedures and shop floor rules.
  • Adhere to all Occupational Safety and Health laws and regulation as well as such standards, practices and procedures instituted by the Company.
  • Any other responsibility which may be assigned from time to time by the Manufacturing Manager.

The Successful Applicant

  • Tertiary qualified. (A University Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering preferred)
  • Previous similar experience in a manufacturing company- min 2 years. Fresh candidates are also encouraged to apply.
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong Leadership, Teamwork, and excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent organization and reporting skills.

Previous experience in working in an ISO 9001 accredited company
