Are you a mechanically inclined problem-solver who takes pride in owning your technology? At Avery Dennison, we don’t just print labels; we design materials science solutions that connect the physical and digital worlds. We are looking for a Flexographic Press Operator to join our team. If you have a "zero-defect" mindset and a passion for high-quality results, we want to hear from you.

Your Day-to-Day

As a Press Operator, you will be the "pilot" of your machine, responsible for converting raw materials into finished, high-quality printed products.

Machine Ownership: Set up, install printing plates, and adjust cylinders according to precise specifications.

  • Quality Control: Monitor ink viscosity and color sequences to ensure every product meets our "zero-defect" standard.
  • Troubleshooting: Use your mechanical aptitude to detect malfunctions and perform root-cause adjustments rather than "band-aid" fixes.
  • Collaboration: Work with your team to meet production targets while maintaining a safety-first environment.

What You Bring

Experience: 1-2 years of printing experience (Flexographic strongly preferred).

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED.
  • Skills: Strong basic math and the ability to read measurements down to 1/8".
  • The "Soft" Fit: You are accountable, curious about how things work, and resilient during high-pressure shifts.

Details

  • Shift: 2nd Shift (6 PM – 6 AM, Mon-Wed; 6 PM – 12 AM, Thurs).
  • Starting Pay: $20 – $22/hr. Candidates with advanced qualifications or specialized experience may be eligible for a higher starting rate
  • Benefits: Health & wellness from Day 1, 401K, and paid parental leave

All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, protected veteran status or other protected status. EEOE/M/F/Vet/Disabled. All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.

If you require accommodations to view or apply for a job, alternative methods are available to submit an application. Please contact (440) 534-6000 or NA.TA.Operations@averydennison.com to discuss reasonable accommodations.

As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment, Avery Dennison requires all final candidates to successfully complete a comprehensive background check and a drug screening. These checks are conducted post-offer and are a condition of employment. All results will be considered in accordance with applicable local, state, and federal laws.
