We are seeking a visionary and experienced Director of Spa to lead our luxurious wellness facility in the stunning island paradise of Phu Quoc, Vietnam. As the Director of Spa, you will be responsible for curating and delivering exceptional spa experiences that align with our brand's commitment to luxury and well-being.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive spa strategy that aligns with our luxury brand positioning and wellness philosophy
- Oversee all aspects of spa operations, including treatments, therapies, relaxation areas, and retail
- Create innovative wellness experiences that reflect local Vietnamese culture and our brand's emotional well-being pillars
- Lead and mentor a team of spa professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
- Manage the spa's financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and achieving revenue targets
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to drive spa revenue through strategic promotions and partnerships
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as our brand's quality standards
- Personalise guest journeys through pre-arrival profiling, in-treatment customisation, and post-stay recommendations
- Drive sustainability initiatives within the spa, promoting responsible luxury in every guest experience
- Represent the spa in media opportunities, VIP briefings, and site inspections
- Extensive experience in luxury spa management, preferably in a director-level position
- Proven track record of strategic leadership and operational excellence in the spa industry
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and revenue management
- Excellent team leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff
- In-depth knowledge of wellness trends, therapies, and innovative spa treatments
- Demonstrated ability to create and implement personalised guest experiences
- Proficiency in spa management software and analytics tools
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests, staff, and stakeholders
- Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Spa management certifications are highly desirable
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Vietnamese or other Asian languages is an advantage
- Familiarity with Vietnamese culture and hospitality standards
- Proven ability to work in a multicultural environment
- Strong commitment to sustainability and ethical practices in spa operations
- Innovative mindset with a passion for continual improvement and industry best practices
