We are looking for an Application Support Engineer to ensure the stability, availability, and performance of critical business applications. Working in a hybrid environment, you will support production systems, manage incidents, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborate with development, infrastructure, and external teams.
Main Responsibilities
- Ensure the stability, availability, and performance of production applications.
- Monitor applications and manage incidents, problems, and service requests.
- Coordinate issue resolution with development, infrastructure, and external teams.
- Execute deployments, upgrades, patches, and change activities.
- Support monitoring and observability initiatives using tools such as Dynatrace.
- Maintain technical documentation and contribute to service improvement initiatives.
- Participate in on-call support activities for critical systems when required.
- Experience supporting business-critical applications in production environments.
- Experience with Red Hat JBoss EAP and Java troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of heap dump and thread dump analysis and performance optimization.
- Experience with OpenShift and Kubernetes environments.
- Experience with API Gateway solutions such as Axway and/or Apigee.
- Knowledge of RHEL Linux.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools, including Dynatrace.
- Experience with CI/CD tools including GitLab, ArgoCD, Jenkins, and Nexus Sonatype.
- Experience with Ansible and/or Terraform.
- Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
- Professional proficiency in Portuguese and English.
Additional Valued Experience
- Exposure to Jaeger, Grafana, Prometheus, and ELK.
- Experience working within ITIL-based support processes.
