Sample Planning Engineer_PS

Job Summary

In house sample coordination & construction.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Receive and process in-house sample orders from SAP/eBAS system
• Check the technical documents availability & confirm the lead time to PMO
• Active communication with project leaders on sample project timeline, identify the risk and escalate timely.
• Prepare materials, fixtures… according to BOM requirements.

(PPD part, IPN plant part, series part…)

• Arrange the sample construction with the relevant resources, e.g., MOE, ENG, PPS…, to make sure the OTD & quality.
• Conflict management for conflict orders with limited time, material chain and other preparations.
• Plan budget for sample’s EWAK, tools…
• Define & maintain quality measurements for sample production line: e.g. FMEA, CP, WI…
• Lead and responsible for problem solving of sample production.
• Keep CIP for sample process
• Support shopfloor CIP

Qualifications Requirement

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in mechanical engineering background or similar technical oriented major
• Systematic thinking and good analyzing skill as well as reasonable logic
• Good communication skills, Good cooperation & influence ability
• Target orientation & Willing to accept the challenges
• Fluent English in oral & writing, basic presentation skills
• Ambition and open mind for continuous learning
• 2 years+ Production planning engineer, SE engineer or supplier chain management experience, w/ project experience is preferred
• Familiar with the manufacturing processes: e.g., Machining, Assembly, Testing
• Basic SAP know-how or experience
• AI relevant knowhow & Python as plus
