- Generates new event business through proactive sales calls, market research, networking, client visits, hotel inspections, industry events, and partnerships with corporate clients, agencies, event planners, and professional organizers.
- Builds and maintains strong client relationships by understanding business needs, provides personalized five-star service, conducts regular account reviews, and develops opportunities for repeat, referral, and long-term business.
- Converts inquiries into confirmed events by responding promptly, prepares tailored proposals and quotations, conducts site inspections, negotiates contracts, and upsells event spaces, catering, accommodation, and other premium hotel services.
- Achieves event revenue targets by managing an active sales pipeline, follows up on leads, monitors conversion and competitor activity, prepares accurate forecasts and reports, and coordinates confirmed events with relevant hotel departments.
- Graduate of a degree in Hospitality Management or any related field is an advantage.
- Minimum of five (5) years experience in events at a similar capacity in a luxury hotel is an asset.
- Strong leadership skills to motivate, train and supervise a team of employees.
- Experience with Opera and Microsoft Office applications.
