About the role
Job Description:
We are looking for energetic, hardworking, and intelligent individuals to join an experimental research project focused on detecting clinical biomarkers using surface-enhanced spectroscopy. The project is based at the Chemistry Department of Nazarbayev University. We need energetic, hardworking, intelligent, and capable young people to move it forward.
Location: Chemistry Department, Nazarbayev University
Duration: 2025-2026 (with possible extension)
Salary: ~460,000 KZT per month (before taxes, for qualified candidates)
Requirements:
- Background in Chemistry (Biology or Physics may also be considered)
- Preferable but not required:
- Knowledge of English
- Experience working in a chemistry lab
- Experience in MATLAB and/or Python programming
- Education:
- Master’s degree in Chemistry is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree holders may also be considered
