Assistant Retail Excellence Manager

Purpose of Position

• The Assistant Retail Optimization Manager supports retail performance improvement by analyzing sales, staffing, and operational data to identify opportunities that enhance productivity, customer experience, and profitability. The role works closely with retail operations and other cross-functional teams to implement data-driven recommendations and support continuous improvement across stores.

Job Description

• Monitor and analyze retail KPIs, including sales, conversion, traffic, productivity, labor utilization, and inventory-related metrics.

• Identify operational gaps and performance trends, and translate findings into actionable recommendations.

• Support the development and execution of retail optimization initiatives across stores or regions.

• Prepare regular reports, dashboards, and presentations for management review.

• Work with store operations teams to improve scheduling, manpower allocation, and service efficiency.

• Assist in the review of store processes, workflows, and best practices to improve consistency and execution.

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking activities.

• Partner with finance, merchandising, HR, and operations teams on business reviews and improvement projects.

• Track the results of optimization initiatives and recommend adjustments based on performance outcomes.

• Contribute to ad hoc analysis and special projects as required.

## Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management, Analytics, Finance, or a related discipline.

• 5+ years of experience in retail operations, business analysis, merchandising, or performance optimization.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in Excel and reporting tools; experience with dashboards or data visualization tools is a plus.

• Ability to interpret data and communicate insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Good interpersonal and collaboration skills.

• Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
